The health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority.  Please be assured that are we’re working hard to make sure we’re well prepared to deal with the all the latest developments during the pandemic.

We have set up a crisis response team and developed an action plan to help us deal with the health and business threats caused by Covid -19 (coronavirus). The aim of this plan is to keep our staff and customers informed, reassured and safe.  We are constantly reviewing how we’ll deliver services to you if our staffing levels, or staff/customer health, are severely impacted. We’re putting measures in place to make sure we maintain business-critical and health and safety related functions.

We are doing everything in our power to support our customers and staff during these difficult times. Here are some of the things we have done so far:

  • Set-up home-working for our customer service centre so you can always get a response from us

  • Check that customers are in good health and happy for works to proceed, without risk to them or our staff, before we begin a job

  • Given our operatives personal protective equipment (PPE) to reduce the risk of coronavirus spreading during service visits to your home or place of work

  • Encouraged all staff to have their vaccination, when offered and to keep their appointment for the second dose

  • Completed coronavirus risk assessments with all our staff, and introduced increased infection control measures, including extra cleaning and hand-washing requirements

  • Encouraged the use of our online resources for booking and payment, to minimise contact between our staff and customers in order to maintain social distancing

  • Set-up robust finance procedures to make sure that contractors and suppliers continue to receive payment for goods and services

  • Set-up a testing station for our staff and contractors, to provide them each with access to up to two lateral flow tests per week


We are also in the process of developing additional procedures to enable the emergency service to begin again.  We know the situation is constantly changing and we’re doing all we can to deliver our service while keeping you safe.
